Like many of us we had a busy and successful RSN and it was great to see so many friends and colleagues!
It was also our first chance to talk about Monica Hub and what it means for our industry. We have said Monica Hub makes your data better, but what does that actually mean?
We're now all relying on many data feeds to keep the railways running: network infringements; slow doors; a surge in passengers travelling due to events or weather; so many events that can affect journeys.
Monica Hub takes those feeds and aggregates the data, so instead of needing to interrogate disparate systems your teams can look at one for the overview of what's going on. Monica Hub combines rail data with external feeds, such as weather.
